Abstract

Dynamics, conflicts and relationships are observed in situations of action of the actors, coming from the sectors of the economy and society. Understanding the dynamics of Governance in Food Security reveals critical factors that are components of the scenarios
marked by socio-environmental vulnerability, whose good governance promotion in complex systems is an alternative for solving dilemmas arising from collective action. Such understanding guides, towards the improvement of resource management and expansion of research in management and more efficient public policies. The present study has the objective to present dynamics, conflicts and
relationships existing in the collective spaces of deliberation between the actors identified in the food security system from Sertão do Pajeú, in Pernambuco. The qualitative research had a critical-analytical character using in-depth interviews as strategies, with a view to the pragmatic analysis of language, in addition to collection and document analysis and scientific observation. The results strongly pointed out the absence of conformity between users and resources, considering that the rules, actions and relationships in the governance of that system are not able to avoid food insecurity, in the face of the weaknesses observed, which involve strong
dependency relationships between actors, conflicts of interest and other failures and whose arrangements have shown serious weaknesses. Besides, the present study had the potential to contribute, in a theoretical-empirical perspective, to a better understanding
of how Governance in Food Security occurs in the context of specific socio-environmental vulnerability
