Abstract

The present study aims to report the “Flowers Agroindustrial Complex” (FAC) in Brazil under the optics of the Commodity System Approach (CSA). More particularly, to evaluate its potentialities in terms of its aggregates. On the basis of the surveyed data, the Agroindustrial Chain of Flowers in Brazil can be reported, through which one has aggregate I (one), made up of input suppliers; aggregate II (two) consisting of flower growers and aggregate III (three) formed by auctions, supplying centers, retailers, flowers shops, funeral shop, supermarkets, home consumers and foreign consumers. From analysis of agroindustrial chain of flowers, observe that the agroindustrial chain of flower is promising face to availability of climate, soils, diversity of cultivated species and economical stabilization, there being limitations liable to be solved through a better coordination of all.
