Organizational structure and social and economical reality: the Case of Artisan’s Mining for the Creative Industry in Three Cities of Minas Gerais

Culture appears currently in a new border that is called as “creative industry” and it, for its turn, demands studies that present new perspectives of analysis as, for example, this that describes the organizational structure and the socioeconomic reality of the artisan’s mining for the creative industry of steatite, that popularly is known as “rock soap”, studied in three cities of Minas Gerais. The presented and analyzed data mention the economic activity for the artisans’ production in a local productive accumulation in the cities of Catas Altas da Noruega, Mariana and Ouro Preto in the State of Minas Gerais. The results present the business structure that by means of labor specialization propitiated the formation of an organizational net and socioeconomic reality from parameters as, for example, education, time of performance, process of learning, income, family, and legal configuration. This net was accomplished by the influence of the capital stock in the process of specialization for functions inside the creative industries and for products and processes between the respective communities.
