Abstract

In this work, we propose the existence of interfaces among social categories of confidence and commitment to the structure and governance of networks, using as the example the banana and grape agribusiness in Northern of the State of Paraná. The guiding proposal is that collective actions and incentive mechanisms and behaviour control are intrinsically related to presence of confidence and commitment. The relevance of the research was because of the importance of social network categories. We used the statement of that all organizations are connected, and the beginning of the social networks theory as the theoretical background, from which there is a social bottom cloth in technical decisions. For researching the proposition we carried out a descriptive case study based on interviews and on secondary data. According to results, there is a interface among categories of confidence and commitment to networks governance. However, the interface with the structure was not clearly established. Therefore, the relevance of this research is justified as it can contribute to the knowledge about network basis related to these kind of research designs.
