Abstract

The present work addresses a subject in constant evolution and that was consolidated very quickly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the home office. The research carried out aimed to identify the perception of employees with the implementation of the home office at Cooperativa Sicredi Centro Region RS/MG. The profile and perception of the collaborators were investigated, and the results were compared with works by other authors. The study had a sample of 111 respondents, mostly female (58%). The three biggest advantages listed by respondents were: greater flexibility, avoiding commuting to the workplace and increased concentration. Finally, data analysis also allowed us to verify that, in the respondents’ perception, there is a conflict between professional and personal life, demanding more discipline from the worker, due to distractions at home with issues of their personal life. Among the contributions of the research, one can mention a continuation of the study by Bridi et al. (2020) in another context, in addition to an exploratory factor analysis to validate and identify dimensions of the scale used.
