SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Organizações Rurais e Agroindustriais (OR&A) is a journal whose objective is to disseminate scientific works and essays developed in the field of Administration, giving priority to questions about rural productive units and public and private organizations directly and indirectly linked to the rural environment and the agro-industrial system. Therefore, manuscripts submitted to the journal must fit into one of the following themes:
- Family farming, public policies and development;
- Accounting and Finance;
- Economy and foreign trade;
- Organizational and associative studies;
- Quality management, operations and logistics;
- Innovation, technology and entrepreneurship;

To be submitted to the journal, the article must be written in clear, direct and objective language, in Portuguese, Spanish or English, and have a maximum of five authors. The article must be unpublished and not have been sent to another publication.
At the discretion of the Editorial Committee, works originally published in a foreign language may be exceptionally accepted. To ensure safe blind evaluation, files submitted for evaluation should not contain any form of identification of the authors.
The entire process of submission and of monitoring the progress of the evaluation will be online, using a username and password in the OR&A journal system. For this, one of the authors must register, providing and keeping your personal and contact information updated. Authors must also register on the basis of ORCID (orcid.org), which provides a digital identifier that will distinguish the researcher from their peers, in addition to helping in the recognition of their publications. The ORCID identification number must be included in your profile, within our system.
To send the manuscript, the author must enter the system with his username and password and follow the instructions for submission. At this stage, it should be informed:
- The language of the manuscript;
- The appropriate section for the submission;
- Confirmation of the requirements for submitting the manuscript;
- Comments to the editor;
- Upload of the main file and supplementary materials;
- Metadata: Title; Abstract; List of authors (maximum five); Knowledge area; Keywords (three to five); Development agencies (if any).
In the Comments to the editor field, authors must specify:
- If the article presented has been published totally or partially in conference proceedings: the conference and the year of publication must be communicated. If possible, you should also provide the link to access the original.
- If the article comes from monographs, dissertations or theses that have been deposited in Institutional Repositories: the title of the work and the date of the deposit must be communicated.
- Conflict of interest: All authors must declare any financial and personal relationship with other people or organizations that may influence their work. If there is no interest to declare, declare the following: "The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest in the subject or in the materials discussed in this manuscript."

Once the submission steps have been completed, the main author will be notified by email of the receipt of the original manuscript and, subsequently, will be informed of the result of the evaluation. The evaluation is carried out using the double-blind revision system and will be carried out by ad hoc consultants. The work of authors and consultants will not be paid.
If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors must send its final version for a rigorous grammar and spelling check in the language in which it was written (Portuguese, Spanish or English). The article will only be published after submitting proof of this review by the authors to the journal editors.

In this context, the concept of terroir is important, since it represents an internal convention that involves the impact of the edaphoclimatic characteristics of the production region on the characteristics of the cheese, as well as the maintenance of typical practices of the producers in a certain period. or region (Roldan & Revillion, 2019, p. 106).
